Study #2 Conducted in Norway
This time MedStat researchers included 3 medical doctors in the study – specialists in Sexology, Andrology and Urology. Test subjects (aged 38 to 65) suffered from reduced sexual desire and performance, but were otherwise healthy and the method used was a randomized placebo-controlled double-blind study with multi-crossover design (MCO). The study lasted for 12 weeks and the patients switched treatment every 2 weeks without any washout (PTO) period. The third study was conducted on 24 patients (12 men and 12 women). All of them were on anti-depressant treatment (SSRI) that caused diminished sexual activity.
